Paula Hutchings
Paula specialises in the fields of management development, diversity, culture change & delivering service excellence. With over a decade of experience as a 'Learning & Development' manager at British Airways, she has worked alongside many areas of business including sales, customer services, operations & management.
During her career at British Airways, Paula took sole responsibility for developing and implementing the company's cultural awareness training plan in line with the airline's global business strategy. This involved tailoring the training needs according to the activities & priorities of each business area. This involved an audience of up to 68,000 staff worldwide. The learning solutions needed to be relevant, timely, innovative, cost- effective and, above all, measurable at all times.
Since leaving the corporate arena, Paula has worked with a variety of clients including Barclays, Woolwich, TV TravelShop, Expedia, and Brit Insurance where she has designed, developed and delivered solutions to help improve business performance in key areas of the business.
Paula's diversity awareness programmes have been described by clients as "interesting, well-tutored, relevant, useful, practical, refreshing & fun".
Paula has achieved much personal success in the field of people development. Her experience of working at all levels within industry has given Paula strong business focus. Her core objective at all times is to ensure that her clients are able to recognise and measure improved people performance as a result of her contribution.
