Team Building
The team has become the principle means of achieving any organisation's goals. But working as an effective group is often easier said than done. At heart we are all individually motivated and it can be difficult to subordinate our needs and wants with those of our fellows.
In many so-called 'teams' we pay lip service to the concept, and lose the synergy that a team can bring. Teamwork should be enjoyable, with the team being greater than the sum of its parts.

Approach
To help your staff work more closely as a team, we first work with you to understand the needs and objectives for the team. We can then create a programme of activities that will help your team work together more effectively. We aim to get a balance between fun and focusing on the outcomes.
Content
To achieve these aims we typically work through:
- Team purpose and goals.
- Roles the team needs: professional, organisational, inter-personal, problem-solving.
- Roles each person is best suited to.
- Identifying and resolving blockages to effective communication and team performance.
- Developing more flexibility in working style.
- Individual goals and performance criteria.
- Action planning - how we need to change the way we work.
Logistics
Our 'team building' workshops typically take 1-2 full days, working with groups ranging from six to twenty individuals, and can take place at your office or a neutral location. We have also run this for several teams simultaneously involving over 200 people.
